Community Navigators
Navigating a new country and unfamiliar systems can be overwhelming. Our Community Navigators Program bridges that gap by helping African immigrants, refugees, and families understand and access the services available to them. As trusted community messengers, we provide culturally appropriate guidance, information, referrals, and one-on-one support to ensure community members can confidently access healthcare, education, housing, employment, social services, and other essential resources.
Community Connection Program
Navigating public systems can be difficult, especially for newcomers.
The Community Connection Program serves as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking support. Through outreach, resource navigation, referrals, and personalized assistance, we connect community members with local organizations, government services, and community-based programs that meet their unique needs. The program also helps reduce barriers caused by language, culture, and unfamiliarity with public systems while fostering a stronger sense of belonging and community engagement.
